Company founder and snowboarding pioneer (Gnu) Mike Olsen grew up near Keller and commissioned a logo of a maniacal child with a Fire Department hat based on his unusual behavior for the 1990 introduction of the Lib Tech line, several years before Pauly was arrested and convicted as Seattle's serial arsonist. His story was depicted in a 1995 Lifetime Original movie called ''Not Our Son'' starring Neil Patrick Harris.
